Dan Sire is a second-career pastor, who was called to serve St. John in July, 2007. A native of Montana, Pastor Dan appreciates living in this part of Wisconsin; the scenery, the people, being a Packer’s fan (If we can get a line to protect Aaron Rodgers!) and flying his small plane.
Pastor Dan claims relationships as central to who we are as human beings; our relationship with God being the most critical. At the center of that relationship is the reality that we are, at our very core, beloved children of God revealed to us as Christians in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we want to know what God is like, we look to Jesus.
“We do not have all this God business figured out and we occasionally have doubts,” Pastor Dan continues, “we wouldn’t be human if we didn’t.” But he along with the parishioners at St. John invite everyone, and we do mean everyone, to join us as we grow in our faith through the doubts and the hopes, through the sorrows and the joys, all the while knowing that “the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)
