Quilts & Lutheran World Relief PickUp!! – Today St. John’s dropped off 27 boxes with 146 quilts to the Lutheran World Relief PickUp!!! Thank you Quilters for all your hard work!

Time & Talent Sheets – Now available for 2026! Thank you for the many ways you serve St. John! Your ministry as the body of Christ unites us together in many different and beautiful ways.

Sunday, October 19th VBS RECAP & CINNAMON ROLL BAKE SALE! Join us for Worship and hear the kiddos sing! Then join us for fellowship with delicious cinnamon rolls. Cinnamon rolls will also be available to go. We will be collecting a free will donation for them.

All proceeds will go to St. John’s Youth!

Noisy Offering! Bring your coins (bills also accepted 😊) starting Sunday, October 19th! This offering will go to Share Your Holidays.

Monday, October 20th at 6:30 p.m. The Book Club will discuss Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt.

Sunday, October 26th final merger resolutions voteBoth Immanuel and St. John will vote on the final merger resolutions immediately after Worship on Sunday, October 26.

Thursday, October 30th at 6:30 p.m. The Adult Study will discuss the Gospel of Luke Chapters 3-5

St. John is an Event Partner for 2025 Highland MobilePack!

St. John will be sending volunteers to help pack meals on Saturday, November 15th 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Sign-up in the Narthex. Deadline to sign-up is Sunday, September 21st St. John will be sponsoring each volunteer at $60/volunteer. If you would like to donate directly to this, please let Ann know! This is a wonderful opportunity to provide food for those in need! Meals will be sent to schools, orphanages, refugee centers, and job training programs in over 70 countries. 100% of funds go directly to meal ingredients.

Sunday, November 23rd at 10:15 a.m. St. John Pie Auction! Join us for our annual pie auction. We are in need of pie bakers, pie buyers, and pie eaters! All donations raised this year will go to Share Your Holidays.

Monday, December 8th at 6:30 p.m. Blue Christmas.  A prayerfully cultivated service for those who have lost loved ones, for those who find the holidays to be a lonely time, and for those who would like to spend more time in prayer.

Tuesday, December 9th at 5:00 p.m. St. John’s Sisterhood Ladies Christmas Gathering. Please consider joining the Sisterhood crew for our annual Christmas gathering at 2510 Restaurant. “Happy Hour” starts at 5:00 p.m. with dinner to follow at 5:45 p.m. As per tradition, we will be collecting non-perishable items for the Women’s Community (toiletries, toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, etc.) and holding our annual white elephant gift exchange… so start looking in those storage rooms and basements (this exchange will be after dinner – don’t forget to wrap your ‘gift’!). A sign-up sheet and additional information are located in the Narthex.

Thursday, December 18th at 5:30 p.m. Candlelit Shepherds Meal.

Doors open at 5:00, dinner starts at 5:30. Join us in a simple Shepherds Meal of soup, bread, dried fruit, nuts and cheeses by candlelight. You are invited to bring wine to share with your brothers and sisters in Christ. After our meal, we will move into the sanctuary where we will watch “Journey to Bethlehem,” a 2023 “live-action Christmas musical adventure… that weaves classic Christmas melodies with humor, faith and new pop songs in a retelling of the greatest story ever told.”  $10/participant paid that evening – money remaining after cost will be donated to the Salvation Army.  Sign-up in the narthex.  This is intended for adults and older/mature children.
